  1. A few years ago, we drove around the West coast and loved it:  Westport, Galway, Ring of Kerry, Kilarny, Cliffs of Mohr, Dingle etc.

  2. Put your finger anywhere on the map of Ireland  -  there's great places everywhere.  I specially like the west coast  -  Galway, Ennis, Westport, Sligo, Donegal  -  but everywhere has oodles of history and landmarks of note.

  3. Limerick is underrated and has a reputation it doesn't deserve, it has a great nightlife, some of the finest restaurants in the south-west if not the country, and a thriving arts scene, and King John's Castle ....

Kilkenny is also great, as is Waterford.

There are just so many ....

  4. DO go to castle Kilarney. DONT kiss the blarney stone. The locals go out at night and pee on it.

  5. Killarney(where i now live)in Kerry is beautiful any time of year,

Dingle in Kerry also has great scenery.

Kilkenny city and waterford  are also great historical spots with numerous landmarks

Galway city and county for resataurants landmarks and great nights out

Westport in co.Mayo has all you have mentioned also.

  6. Clonakilty Co. Cork. Lots of landmarks, historic one i mean. Some good restaurants. Just to let you know there aren't any good brigges in Ireland unless you are in Dublin. If you like drink then come to Ireland. We have lots of pubs. de Barras in Clon is a famous one here so you should visit  it. Also Cork city is only an hour away from Clonakilty. It also won a european award for upcoming tourist attraction. One of the top ten in Europe!
