My husband who was also my best friend left me in January with a $145,000 mortgage and credit card bills totaling $23,000. I'm not looking for advice on what to do, but I am not only going through a divorce, but I also recently lost a loved one, was diagnosed with narcolepsy, and had to have hand surgery. Just this week I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes??? Probably b/c I haven't been taking care of my body and I am highly stressed. I have used all vacation and sick time at work and just need help. I can't sell my house so that is out of the question.

  1. No.  You've probably heard the myth "There's scholarships of all kinds".  No that's a lie.

  2. try http://www.nami.org

  3. Hello how are you? What I suggest you do is use a scholarship search. A scholarship search allows you to create a profile and receive information for all the scholarships that you are eligible to apply for based on your profile description. Scholarshipsupport.com actually has 2 free scholarship searches available right now. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

  4. I doubt there's any "scholarship" for depression.  If so, then everyone and their emotional teen-aged sister would have one.  Maybe you could file for disability or something, but definitely not depression, even if it was diagnosed.
