usually head start is just during the school year although there are a few year round programs.

are you working? because in pennsylvania, if you are working and still not making a ton of money, you can apply for subsidized day care. the amount you pay to put your child in day care is directly based on how much you make.

some preschools do offer scholarships as well. call some of the day cares up and ask them what type of scholarships they offer to needy families and they also might be able to point you in the right direction for some state/federal subsidized programs.
