There are places you can play for less than $30 with the cart. They are usually the lesser quality courses or executive courses, but they are out there.

You didn't mention where you are looking, so it is really hard to say where they are in your area. Or even if they exist in your area.

if you split the cart cost most anywhere is around 30 to 40.

La county courses kinda have issues tho. its a desert and the design of the fairways are typically concave to catch runoff water. you wont see them watering the fairways. this means the ground is usually pretty hard and the club will bounce. your better off paying a little more and going to a better course. hansen d**n is cheap and entertaining. nice fairways decent greens. pretty cheap overall. the balboa courses are beat up pretty good and flood yearly so dont bother with those if at all possible. Woodley is okay but dry again so you get the bounce all over again. the two courses at griffith are decent but a little more pricey. I would start there and work my way south.

There are many places if you go super twilight, otherwise I suggest you forget about the cart and walk - the way golf is supposed to be played. trust me you will have a better scoring round by walking the course and most public courses are pretty flat anyways so why not walk! Save $$ and play better!!
