We are a self funded equine rescue. We've been taking care of unwanted horses for 6 years. We currently have 19 horses on the farm. As you know times are tough. We've been paying for them with trail rides and sidework. We have covered most everything ourselves. In the last month the work has not been available, and the trail rides have not been frequent enough. We can not afford the liscense for Non-Profit Orginazation. All our bills are unpaid due to feeding our horses. We are getting very worried and are haveing trouble placing the ones we need to place. All the people want ridable horses, but we need to place the ones that can't work. This is a very scary situation.

  1. I would consider giving "riding lessons" and using that money for feed, vet etc.  That might help anyway.  If I could help in any other way, please let me know.

  2. Can you hold a fundraiser in your area? People love animals and you might be surprised by the donations that roll in.

Edit: I e-mailed you a list of ideas. I hope it works out for you.
