i went on craigslist and found mine for 80 bucks with mattress and everything it was barely used and the lady also sold me the rocking chair (almost new) for 80 :o) so if you dont mind used stuff check in to craigslist.

I got the Leksvik-style crib at IKEA for exactly $150 and it is sturdier than any of my friends' $400 "designer" cribs from BRU. It also converts to a toddler bed.

Well, the first one is a little over $50, but it is really good.

I'd say you should think about the second one. When your baby is a baby, (lol) it's a crib. When your baby is a little older, it converts into a toddler bed AND a daybed.
