I'm moving there late September and am looking for an apartment with two bedrooms, ideally in an old house.

  1. Try Cambalache, it's a newspaper mainly dealing with the south of Spain. You should be able to see what's available in Jerez. Try and get the paper as soon as it comes out.            (www.cambalache.es) It would be a good idea to come a week before the end of September as the University kids will be looking for properties.

If your stuck for somewhere to stay short term try www.houseinjerez.com or El Ancla ( cheap hotel in the centre)

Be warned if you use an agency they will sting you for a months rent on top of your deposit.

  2. I'll just bet you've got a vineyard there eh?

  3. Also try the rentals sections on www.kyero.com and www.eyeonspain.com

  4. check www.idealista.com then 'alquileres' or www.segundamano.com then 'alquileres'. They're not English websites, but they may have an English version. With the first one, you'll find a list of Real State Agencies in the area that may help you. Good luck!
