Does anyone know of some good books (fiction or nonfiction) about college life?

I am preparing for college and would enjoy reading some books on college life, sororities, academics, etc. I don't mind if they are fiction or non-fiction, as long as they interesting reads. So far I have read "I am Charlot Simmons" and "Catcher in the Rye". Does anyone have any good suggestions.

Check out Moo by Jane Smiley- it's amazing how many people are convinced that was their college!  For a darker, non-fiction read, get Pledged:  The Secret Life of Sororities and see if you ever consider going Greek after that!  I'll have to think about this and add more when I think of them, but hope this gets you started.

Although I have no recommendations for you, I can tell you that a book about college will, well, not really tell you of the experience! You have to ask and talk to people who have been to or who are currently in college. "Catcher in the Rye" IS  a great book, though. =)

Well, I'm not sure if Kerouac's "On the Road" counts... but it's a great book.
