Does anyone know of some sort of inside gate that a dog cannot jump over?

I have a small Maltese/Terrier doggie that can jump VERY high. So the baby gate I bought to keep her in the kitchen and dining room area when we are gone, is not working because she just jumps over it. Does anyone know of another type of gate I can use indoors?

  1. they make pet gates they are in the pet section of your local super store. they come in different sizes and some of them even have little doors for smaller pets

  2. You could use a screen door if you didn't think it looked to tacky

  3. Buy a second gate. Put up the first one as normal, then put the other one on top of that one.

  4. We originally tried the 2 gates on top of each other like Bindi said, and it got to be a pain when we wanted to go through, so we found one, that is expandable and it clips to your walla nd swings, and it is about 1 and a half baby gates tall. It works awesome, we got it at Wal Mart.

  5. Try googling extra tall baby gates, or cat gates.

They make baby gates that are designed to keep cats (and high-jumping dogs) from going into rooms they are not supposed to.

  6. they make gates that are tall enough to make sure that large dogs or high-jumping dogs can't go into rooms they can't enter.

  7. a normal baby gate works for me
