Does anyone know of something fun to do on the NSW South Coast?

I am staying in Sussex Inlet and St Georges Basin in a few weeks (over the weekend) and we are looking for something weather permitting to do on the saturday....it will be too cold for watersports so does anyone have any ideas?

It is not necessarily true that it will be too cold.

It was this time of year that I kayaked down the Shoalhaven river from Kangaroo valley to Nowra, years ago.

You can also go fishing near Sussex Inlet or fishing off the beach.

Not sure if it is the right time of the year for prawns but if it is, walk into the sea at night with a small net and see what you can scoop up.

If you really can't think of anything to do, take a trip up to Nowra. Plenty of indoor things to do there!

how about taking a trip to sydney and going to the french riviera (ice cream parlour) they are the best!!
