Does anyone know of this book?

I read a book approximately 15 years ago about a girl named Monday. A Spanish soccer player transferred to her school and he nicknamed her Lunes. She lied about her age so she could date him,but he found out and broke up with her. She also had an obnoxious older brother and she watched I Love Lucy repeats. The book was already old when I read it; I believe it was written in the 1970s.

I am desperate to find the title out, thanks!
