I thought it was called Topper but I can't find any links to rules for it now.
You lay three cards about 5 inches apart at the top. Then two across each of those, like you would in Pyramid. Then three across each of those so you have 9 cards in a row. The last row of 10 cards is laid across those. All of those face-up.
You take the top card out of the discard pile and game play is done by choosing a card that would be before or after the card by your discard pile. You could easily play something like 5,4,3,4,5,6,7,6,7,8,9,8 and so on.
If there are no cards left in the upper area that could be put on the pile you've started at the right of the discard pile, you draw another card from the discard pile and start atop that one.
The one thing I'm uncertain of is if a 2 has to be followed by a 3 or if I could put an Ace over it and then another 2 or a King over that and continue from there. I thought that game play could circle around and wouldn't putting an Ace over a 2 be correct in that case? I don't want to make the game too easy!
