Does anyone know of this toy in the mid-90's where you could melt this stuff and mold like little rubber dolls and make like clothes and hats and things for them? They came out all flat and they kind of smelled like burning plastic? Does anyone know the name of it?

  1. I don't know about the dolls but that sounds very similar to this toy I used to have called 'Creepy Crawlers' or something..

  2. That was called Dolly Maker by the same makers as Thingmaker. They had 2 different series of this toy...in the first you made the whole doll and her clothes (putting plastigoop into the molds and baking it to make that "wonderful" funky smell you mentioned!), and they had some plastic shoes and accessories to go with them once you got them made. They had the basic set and then "Designer" sets like "Here Comes The Bride".

In the second set they came out with you made the doll bodies the same way and they gave you heads to choose from to put on the bodies. I liked the one making the full dolls best.....the one with the heads seemed creepy! (LOL)

  3. were they shrinky dinks?
