Does anyone know of virtual games to play online?

I'm bored and I would like to play a 3d game on line, but I can't find a good web site. Please only answer with websites that don't require downloads, and no runescape or imvu. Something more like sims but for the internet.

I'm not sure if it is what you are looking for, but Ikiriam is a similar browser based game.  You build up a Roman type empire so it may be a little different than you would like.  Check it out on http://www.freetimewasters.com in the games section.  You don't have anything to lose.  There might be another game or something that you would like too.
