  1. Hello...I haven't experience with the dental insurance you mention, but if you want a tried and prove plan go to the "Delta Dental Plan". Be careful which plan you decide on....I had a patient who thought she had a good plan only to find out that it only paid 20% of the fees charged by only dentist they approved of.....Good luck and be careful..

  2. I would encourage a visit this site: www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online over 5 years now and has truly benefited me. The rep is great and this explains the plan very well.

  3. The only thing I would be wary about is how many providers that are actually participating in those plans and also check on what you are buying. Are you buying insurance or discount plans. The insurances only give you but so much in a year, and throughout the year you still have the premium AND copays.  I actually am an independent rep for one of the largest discount dental/health plans around. Mine costs $19.95 per month for family access AND gives you access to not only the dental, but vision, chiropractic and prescription discount programs. If you also needed physician you get get the dental, vision, chiro. prescription and physician for only $39.95/month for family. With this company I could check for you BEFORE you purchase, to see how many doctors participate in your area, so you are sure to have access to the discounts. I am not familiar with those plans on that website.

If you would like me to check for you just email your zip and city, or even if you have any questions feel free to email too!

  4. You need to beware of these so-called discount dental programs where you pay like 13.00 a month.  I signed up for one and it was a sheer ripoff!!!!!  I went to the dentist and out of a 500.00 bill they paid only 27.00 of it.  Then when I tried to cancel it they said after 30 days you are locked into the contract and can't, but if I want to write their grievance committee I can to see if they can make an exception.  Well I did and they did cancel after I wrote a long nasty letter.

You really need to read the fine, fine, fine print as to what they cover and make SURE things are covered.  Otherwise you end up wasting money with them.
