Question

I read the book "Perfect" by Natasha Friend a few weeks back and I cant remember why Isabelle's father died. Well I know he was sick but did everyone know about it but were shocked or had he kept it a secret? It says in one part of the book but I just cant find it. Some plz help? I need to know for a summary for school.

I haven't read that book but when I tried to Google it all it says was when her father passed away but it does not mentioned any specific detail as to why he has passed way I looked everywhere if you really want to know you will probably need to go back to the reading see if you find any clues on the cause of his death.
