check out romeo and juliet. i know in one part juliet wants night to come so her and romeo can do their thing, so she askes the sun god to give his wildy sun the ability to make the sun go faster across the sky, so night comes. but yea check out R&J.

I would suggest looking up poetry from either Wordsworth or Coleridge. They are sometimes depressing, but otherwise quite descriptive, and very naturalistic poets (often with the birds and mist and grass and forests...)
