Does anyone know some good bus trips to go on for backpackers in south america and north america ??

im heading off traveling for year by myself after christmas, just woundering does anyone know of any good tour bus companies, to go on in south and north america ?were i can meet other backpackers....

Ecuador - Peru - Chile - Argentina - Brazil. In Ecuador, you could visit the Andes towns and Pacific beaches, then head south to Peru and go on a trip to the Macchu Picchu ruins, then head south to Chile, cross over to Argentina and get a ride north to Brazil. all i know to tell you is if and when you finally make it to Honduras, come to Roatan, little island off the coast! Lots of backpackers and is a great place to visit!

There are bus lines called Tica buses, i know you can find them online, www.ticabus.com is the site!
