I'm moving to Paris in two weeks and I've never been there, I've never even been out of the country, and I'm wondering if anyone who has been there knows any good places to hang out, shop, go to eat. I know there are amazing places in France, but I'm looking for places a 15 year old could go. And mostly I want to go places with my boyfriend (he already lives there). So anything will help!!

Thank you!!!!!!!!

  1. normandy is about a two hour drive but its my favorite place in all of france there evreything theres the world war two meusam theres the normandy beaches.

  2. Onne MUST -DO in Paris is the largest ;lfea market in the world - it originated in the 1400 when the royals threw out their clothing and the loyal subjects all wanted them ( fleas ridden and all). It can be searched thru Google  Paris flea markets - it has EVERYTHING!! It's almost like a Fair or circus has leather goodies jewlery antique this and antique repos. I think it was the hi-lte of my trip to get our of the city and do something local. It is out a bit (15 min metro line) on the #8 . Pls check this out! AND,.. arr 3-4 are loaded with shops that ARE open on Sunday since everything else is closed up ! grrrrrrr HAve Fun

  3. Paris is a really wonderful city. You are so lucky. You must visit Eiffel tower , Louvre museam , Natre Dame , Arc de triomphe , Chateau de versailles and Musee d'orsay. Things that you shouldn't miss are making boat trip in river seine and visitng Eiffel tower at midnight. It's so beautiful.

  4. Well I went to Paris when I was 17 and I turned 18 over there. I did most of the classics like the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe, The Louvre Museum, Versailles, sitting on the steps on Montemarte and watching the city lights come one with a bottle of french wine, etc.( which I thouroughly enjoyed LOL.) But if you really want to get a feel for what Paris really is like, just take day and just go walk around, mingle with the locals, look around in the small shops. It'll take you all day to really experience Paris in the touristy areas because allot of those things are what everyone wants to see. You and your boyfriend should just go walk around and see Paris for yourself, me and my friends did it and it was so much more fun than standing in line for thirty minutes at the Louvre.

  5. If you are 15, there are a ton of outdoor parks and museums to visit that are either free or inexpensive and well worth the experience: Jardin de Luxembourg, Jardin de Tuileries, Musee D'Orsay, Musee de la photographie, Parc Buttes de Chaumont, Bois de Boulogne... just look on Lonely Planet or Let's Go guidebooks are good for someone your age.
