Does anyone know someone at Parris Island??

Question

Someone i talked to for a long time recently went into marines training in Parris Island. It's a long story why we didn't get to talk before he left (why i dont know how to contact him), but anyway i miss him a lot and i know there is a way you can write them letters. i was just wondering if anyone knows someone there that might know him or if anyone knows how to get the mailing address to mail the recruits there?! I need help asap =[

Yes..A friend I met through Yahoo Answers a while back left 10 days ago to become a Marine. I received his first letter today and he says hes having a wonderful time and that why didn't I talk him out of it.Ha ha..

I'm gonna send him a nice letter to ensure he gets nice and strong..Ill address it to SSGT (his name) just to make sure he gets a little extra attention..

You have to know a family member or he has to write you..There is no public place with his/her address..

How does anyone know that you are suppose to make contact with him?? Thats why they dont make these addresses public..No one knows who you are or what your intentions are.

Yes, a friend of mine is a shooting instructor on the island and many friends who have passed through it. To get his address, talk to his family. If you are his family, talk to an enlisted recruiter (preferably his); they can usually make a few phone calls and find out which battalion, company, and platoon he’s in so you can send him letters. The best thing for you to do is ask one of his family members... without the correct address he won't get your mail

Give your address to his parents and if he chooses to contact you then he will. No one in there right mind in the military will assist you because you are not immediate family nor will Red Cross because its in violation of the Security Act.

Just Give your address to the parents.

There are several ways. The best is go to the local recruiting office and get an address. Another way is through your local Red Cross facility.
