Does anyone know someone who can perform a marriage on August 2 in Dallas, TX at 6 PM?

My minister was a family member who backed out today due to overbooking himself. I have two weeks until my wedding and I have noone and very little money in my budget to pay someone. We are not having a big wedding, we are christian but it is not a ceremony in a church. A very simple ceremony will do and you don't even have to be there long. 30 minutes tops.

Go to gatheringguide.com or the website for the American Association. of Wedding Officiants/AAWO.  When you put in your request at the AAWO website, please give your names, telephone numbers, and the date, time, and exact location of your wedding so someone can contact you.

Here's a bit of advice . . do not tell them that you have "no money" because right away they will think that you want them to do it for FREE.  Just tell them what happened and that you need some help.

As to your other minister  who cancelled out today. .  a minister (or any other professional) will always choose a job that pays  him sufficiently over one that pays him little or nothing.
