Does anyone know supermarket chains in Germany that accept VISA credit cards? I am living in Geisenheim.?

i didn't know that there are some that don't accept visa. well try real or marktkauf, they are pretty much the biggest supermarket chains in germany. if they don't accept visa then i don't think anybody does.

Supernarket chains in Germany like REAL or Kaufmarkt do not accept VISA cards, since they won't afford the additional cost based on the low trade margin in german food business.

Food/victual sections in stores which are more focussed on high quality of food (delicatessen-shop) for example at "Karstadt" or "Kaufhof" in general accept credit cards.
