Does anyone know that quote from Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf (the play) about insanity and relaity?

The quote goes something like "insanity is our escape when the weight of reality becomes too much for our minds to bear.." or something of that effect. I need this quote urgently and I would love it if anyone would be able to help me find the exact quote. I heard it in the play but I am not sure if it is in the film version.
