  1. Class I - Occlusal only

Class II - Occlusal plus other sides (Posteriors)

Class III - Mesial or Distal (Anteriors)

Class IV - Mesial or Distal involving the incisive edge (Anteriors)

    Class V - Root Surface

  2. Go to wikipedia.org and look up dental fillings/restoration classifications. I just did it and it has everything you need.

  3. The classifications for dental codes/terminology are:

    Class I = Preventative

    Class II = Basic Restorative

    Class III = Major Restorative

    Class IV = Orthodontics

As far as fillings, they would fall under class II in most cases.

If it is the codes you need, the ones I know off the top of my head

    are as follows

    D2330 1 surface anterior restoration

    D2331 2 surface anterior restoration

    D2332 3 surface anterior restoration

    D2335 4+ surface anterior restoration

    D2391 1 surface posterior restoration

    D2392 2 surface postertior restoration

    D2393 3 surface posterior restoration

    D2394 4 surface posterior restoration

(anterior is from 6 teeth, others are posterior
