Does anyone know the Microsoft program, and how to get there, that helps you create a resume? Im pretty sure it asks you to just type in what you want on your resume and at the end, it creates the resume for you. I hear its real easy to do.

Thanks, Jim

  1. Microsoft word...just click on help and type resume.  I used this resume writing service in my area, this is the email address, (resume.help50@yahoo.com) you should try them, it only cost me $35.00 and I got a great job from this new resume, I never thought about the format that they use but the turn around time was less then 24 hrs.  I would have to say it was the best service I have ever used and it was worth every dime.  Also they let me pay through paypal.

  2. you can use microsoft word, they have resume templates to make it easier (:

  3. I know of none that do it automatically. I would use Microsoft Publisher or Word to create the resume.

  4. I believe thats just plain old microsoft works. You should be able to click file > open and then something like templates  and it will give you a list of those types of things and allow you to select styles and other customizations. Word may have it as well , i'm not sure but i know i've done it on works.

  5. Open Microsoft Publisher and click on Resume and CV templates.  Unfortunately, you have to fill in the details.

  6. Microsoft Publisher does this, but you can do it in Word too. However, these programs are very expensive. If you do not already have them, you would pay more for the application than to have somebody professionally prepare one for you! No kidding. Anyway, there is another option, it is called Open Office and it is a free Office Suite that is as good as Microsoft Office. Here, check it out:

    http://www.openoffice.org

It is just as good, really it is, and anything you create in it can be opened and edited in the Microsoft version, as it is fully compatible.

You can also download a trial of Publisher. Here:

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suites...

It is a 60 day trial, just look to the right of the page.

Good luck with your resume, have a nice day.

Edit: I read a few responses here, and the Templates are Not Lame! Oh my goodness. I have helped several people create wonderful resumes off of the templates in Publisher, and even with Word. It is as easy as can be too. Especially in Publisher '07.

  7. You are looking for a template? You can get MS Word resume templates and use MS word to just change the info..

  8. go on-line and look up microsoft templates. you can download resume templates, get clip art, business cards, about anything you can think of!  You can only download templates that are for your year of windows, but don't worry...they have templates for almost all the years.

If you can't get that, which you should be able to, look under new word documents and there should be some basic templates for you to use.

  9. Microsoft works.  I have it.

  10. maybe

  11. Uh...Word?

  12. Microsoft office word, Microsoft word.

  13. It microsoft word. You just have to look for it in the templates. I would give you more info but I haven't had it on my computer for a long time now. Sorry!

  14. Microsoft Word is the program...  Click on the help button on word and type resume in and that should bring it up

  15. It is in Word. Go to new, and it will give you an option of several templates. Choose resume, and then it should give you several layouts to choose from. Once you pick, then you can start replacing each field with your info.

  16. you should have the "New Office Document"  , click on other documents. then click on resume wizard, u should have the format.

    then u can began :)

  17. MS Word will do that.  Go to MS Word.  Select File>New then go to the side bar and click on Templates.  You might need to be connected to the internet.  If MS Word takes you to the internet, scroll down & click on Resumes and CVs.  Depending on the version you're using, it may also be built in.  You can choose the layout and content for your resume.  The wizard will walk you through the steps.  It is easy.

MS Works will do it too, with fewer options.  If that's what you have, it works the same way.

  18. microsoft word
