im now 20, i was 11 when the incident happened, my dad commited suicide, well when i was 11 i was fighting with my mom and she told me i should kill myself like my dad did, well i told her i took some pills even tho i didnt and she call 911 and i got backeracted for 5 days. I went to meps today and answered yes and because I did I have to get a waver for it. I passed everything else in meps and that was the only problem. after the incident i didnt need a shrink and i was never medicated, do you guys think I will still be allowed to join?

  1. First of all sorry about your dad and kudos to you for recovering through such a difficult time. I think everything will be fine. Don't worry about it. I am an Army vet and very proud of my service. Just make sure that this is something you really want to do and please don't trust those slimly recruiters. They are the scum of the earth. Trust me I know. Good luck.
