Does anyone know the best way to run Crysis on a 24" iMac using Vista?

Question

I know this game runs fine on Low on everything but when it turns up a notch to medium, i get a fair amount of low FPS (around 15-5). Then you probably wont wanna know about High or Very High lol. Is there any tips or tricks i can try using the console? are there any ways to get decent FPS out of Medium or High? please let me know any of your suggestions

Just for the run, my specs on the iMac are:

2.8Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor

2GB DDR2 RAM

256MB ATI 2600 HD Pro

P.S. i know about overclocking and do not wish to mess around with the Graphics Card as i almost damaged it due to a miss guided Tutorial.

you dont need 4gb of ram and that video card. i had 2 gb and 8600gt and and a little bit worse processor could play on high settings, but depending on wat level i had to switch to medium settings. and honestly, i didnt see much of a difference in the settings. ji cant see y u cant paly on medium settings. it doesnt really matter wat stting you play on, ull enjoy the game just as much

Your runnign Crysis one of the most demanding gmaes ever on Vista that is bieng Virtulixed on a Mac, one fo the least Game freindly computers in the hsitory of gmaing.

soz mate but if you want to paly Crysisi youd have to go full hog n get a Vista Pc with 4GB of Ram, 8800GTS, though your CPU is okay.

brave for trying though.
