Does anyone know the best way to ship baggage within the US?

I've got 3 duffle bags in storage in WA and my friend is going to pick them up and I need to find a way to get them to MO... what is the most cost effective way? I don't want express, i'm looking for the cheapest possible way... does anyone know how I can do this? thanx

Mail them.  My girlfriend (who works for the post office) visits me yearly.  She ships any extra baggage back home before her fllight home.

Get some of those "vacuum bags" to make the load smaller and get a box.  They have tape at the POffice.  You can ship pretty cheap, now that the airlines are charging for extra baggage now.

Your best bet is good old UPS ground.  I've found they are generally the cheapest.  

Depending on the type of bag, they might even be able to ship them as is, if not have them taken to a pack and ship place to be shrinkwrapped.
