Does anyone know the best website to find out which highways are closed or being worked on before taking a?

trip? I couldn't find that information on Mapquest. Maybe I just didn't know what to look for.

  1. Try the AAA.  They usually have a Road Reports section under the "Automotive" heading (at least they do in my neck of the woods).   www.aaa.com


  2. most states have a link on their DOT (Dept of Transportation)

    site...CA has Caltrans has webcams up to date closures etc
