  1. Oh yes.  This is a reaction which I use with my AP students to study kinetics and redox reactions.  In really dilute solutions of KMnO4 the reaction may take up to a minute to occur, and then changes rapidly to a colorless solution with the evolution of O2 gas (much like a clock reaction).  The interesting thing is that it is self-catalyzing.  The formation of Mn2+ catalyzes the formation of more Mn2+ very quickly.

    KMnO4 + H2O2 + H2SO4 --> ???

    This makes a lot more sense if we leave out the spectator ions.

    2(8H+ + MnO4- + 5e- --> Mn2+ + 4H2O)

    5(H2O2  -->  O2 + 2H+ + 2e-)

    --------------------------------------...

    16H+ + 2MnO4- + 5H2O2 --> 2Mn2+ + 5O2 + 8H2O + 10H+

    Simplify

    6H+ + 2MnO4- + 5H2O2 --> 2Mn2+ + 5O2 + 8H2O

    3H2SO4 + 2KMnO4 + 5H2O2 --> 2MnSO4 + K2SO4 + 5O2 + 8H2O

    ========== Follow up ===========

    In the reaction suggested by AntiApol, H2O on the reactant side should be H2O2, but the products won't form in acidic solution.

  2. 2KMnO4 + 3H2O --->MnO2 + 2H2O + 3O2 + 2KOH

    In aqueous solution:

    2K(+) + MnO4(2-) + 2H(+) + SO4(2-) + 3H2O -->MnO2 + 4H2O + 3O2 + 2K(+) + 2OH(-)
