Does anyone know the cost of giving birth in Pennslvania?

currently 8 months pregnant no health insurance and got denied medical assistance

  1. NOT sure about Penn but down in GA the last time i checked just to deliver a baby is 20,000 that doesnt include the hospital stay

There is no one answer, since the cost of giving birth depends on so many factors.  Home births are less expensive than hospital births, but there could be complications that a midwife wouldn't be able to handle.  If you end up having a c-section, the bill could be over $40,000, and that wouldn't include the OB's fees for your prenatal care or the pediatrician's visits.

    Just curious--how have you been paying for your prenatal care up to this point?

  4. google it - you should be able to get some estimates. Your doctor should have given you a sheet of paper telling you all of that info.
