No one even knows the cause of schizophrenia--same offer.

No known cure but it is interesting that Hoffmann, a Swiss chemist, was looking for a cure for it and ended up discovering LSD! Just the opposite effect it causes schizophrenia.

There isn't one.  You control the symptoms with medication to varying degrees of success.

There currently is no cure for schizophrenia. It can be treated (symptoms controlled) with varying degrees of success by medication, but until the underlying causes are more completely understood, it cannot be cured. This is made more complicated by the fact that there may be several causes for schizophrenia: genetic, physiological, and environmental. It may be that we will never be able to *cure* schizophrenia, but hopefully we will be able to be more successful in treating it, so more people can live "normal," fulfilling lives.
