The best thing that you can do is go to this website, they have the BEST turn by turn directions for the old highway and it list all the new street names/highway names:

There is also a forum on the site in which you can ask questions to people and they can also assist you in getting information.  I drive Route 66 all the time and use the directions from the site above and they are right on!  Hope this helps you!
