Does anyone know the definition of plant acid, or what it does??

  1. I would like to know more about where your question is from because it is too vague really.

    If I understood I could narrow the anwer down.  But just as a wild guess I am going to attempt the only plant acid I know off hand which is citric acid.

    Citric acid is one of a series of compounds involved in the physiological oxidation of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates to carbon dioxide and water.

    This series of chemical reactions is central to nearly all metabolic reactions, and is the source of two-thirds of the food-derived energy in higher organisms.
