  1. hard to say.. i cant explain it but i vaguely know the difference

  2. There isn't one.  Astronomy is a branch of physics.  A professional astronomer is a physicist first.  He or she probably got an undergraduate degree in physics, went to grad school in physics, and in the second year of grad school, specialized in  astronomy.  I guess you could be an amateur observational astronomer without knowing much physics.

  3. Astronomy is the field of science and Astrophysics is a branch of that field. Astrophysics deals (as you might have guessed) with the physics of astronomy. Astronomy is simply the science of star-gazing. Does that help any?

  4. An astrophysicist deals with the physics of the universe.  An astronomer can also be an astrophysicist, but it is a more general term relating to the observation and cataloging of the night sky.  An astronomer might tell you, for example, that she has spotted a quasar 2 billion light years away, whereas a physicist will describe the nuclear reactions happening inside such a beast.

  5. Practice and them go for real to be one.
