Does anyone know the difference in appearance Fleas vs Lice?

I just pulled bugs out of my sons hair - and they look just like fleas -any ideas? Does lice look like fleas? Both my boys got it.....have no idea from where either! It' freaking me out a bit!

Fleas don't normally live in human hair. It is probably lice, they could have gotten it at school, daycare, friend's house, really anywhere. Just head to the pharmacy and get some Rid. Make sure you treat everyone's hair (not just the kids, adults too) and wash ALL bedding and clothes. Also, use the Rid spray for your couch and carpet. Be thorough and you should be ok in a few days.

fleas are black and compact, while head lice tend to be lighter in color and longer in the body to better blend with hair.
