  1. Well, looking at this site... http://www.onionring.co.uk/restaurants/r...  I would definately say smart or smart casual - wouldn't go with jeans etc...

  2. That's Cheshire stockbroker country isn't it?  It's also near where most of Man United own million pound mansions.  If it's that upmarket then it'll be a shirt and tie job for the men at least - no jeans and t-shirts with slogans and definately no tracksuits, hoodies or tramps.  Even the seriously rich and famous have been turned away from some places for not adhering to a supposed dress code, and an indignant "Don't you know who I am?" doesn't usually cut much ice with the maître d'.  Phone them and ask:  0871 426 7752 - the link below says "child friendly" so they can't be too strict!

  3. casual-smart

  4. THEY prefer the ladies to wear the dresses?

  5. It's a  restaurant with a sophisticated atmosphere and people do make an effort to dress smartly. - men wouldn't have to wear a suit but a shirt would go down well. There were women in smart jeans, heels and a 'going out' top, and some in skirts etc when I went.

have a great time the food there is lovely!

  6. .Tramp-Chic, look as if you have been sleeping rough for two weeks otherwise they wont let you in. I went there last week, and I had clean clothes on they wouldn't let me in. Sorry I'm joking, why don't you just phone the front desk anonymously
