I am going away to Italy this year (in October) and can;t find a site which details the entrance fee for Pompeii or whether there is one for Vesuvius too - does anyone know a good web site with this info or have recently been and can give me details? Thanks!

  1. hey i had a look many of thr websites are in Italian, have a look at these if u can understand othewise i can give u hand with translation.. :)

here u can buy both tickets for POmoei and the vesuvio national park. they ask you just a few details and they should contact you with a price.. may sound dodgy but if im not wrong the website works in partnership with the town.

    http://www.pompeiservice.it/

have a look if theres something helpful here too..

    sorry can't help u more...x

  2. Hi I'm writing from Italy and the price for Pompei is 11€,  for the Vesuvio is 6,5€ and you can buy them at the moment.

I suggest you to go and visit other places in Campania, expecially Paestum that is a beautifull village just 40 minute by train from Pompei.

I live in Paestum and if you like I can help you knowing the area around here. In few minute from here you will reach the Cilentana Coast too, that is less known than Amalfitana but beautifull as well.  Sorry for my English, wait for you Enza.

  3. The entrance fee for Pompeii was 11 euro when I was there a couple of months ago. It still seems to be according to this site: http://www.culturacampania.rai.it/site/e... Note that you may qualify for a discount if you're an EU resident and in the right age range.

There's also a combination ticket that allows you to see both Pompeii and Herculaneum plus three other sites.

This web link has good information on the 5 sites: http://www2.pompeiisites.org/database/po...

    Vesuvius entrance is 6.50 euro.

There's information on entrance fees for several attractions in the area on this tour website: http://www.hotelantichemura.com/en/escur...
