But, what about places that are far away from more civilized nations... I doubt they report births. Plus people die all the time, so how do you instantly measure that?

  2. no, nobody does. people are being born every second. it is pretty much impossible to know.

    make it a good day.

The world population is the total number of living humans on Earth at a given time. As of July 2008, the world's population is estimated to be just over 6.684 billion. In line with population projections, this figure continues to grow at rates that were unprecedented before the 20th century, although the rate of increase has almost halved since its peak of 2.2 percent per year, which was reached in 1963. The world's population, on its current growth trajectory, is expected to reach nearly 9 billion by the year 2042.[1][2]

  5. No, it's impossible to know exactly. People are born and die every second. There's absolutely no way of recording all of them accurately and updating it in real time.

The best we've got is reasonably accurate estimates.

  6. The world population has already changed frrom the time that you just posted this question.

  7. Impossible to tell. Theres about 6billion people but it keeps changing. Increasing i assume because there are more births a day than deaths but some deaths are in large numbers.
