  1. Example: 2 weeks, 80 hours worked, 40 hours per week, paycheck is $800.00 (before taxes). 800/80=$10.00 per hour.

  2. sph=m/h

  3. If you worked 80 hours divide by what you made, let's say you made $1000.00 divided by 80 equals $12.50 an hour

  4. The formula is: bi-weekly gross pay times 26 divided by 2080.

First determine your annual pay based on a bi-weekly pay period (you're paid every two weeks).  To do this multiply your gross pay by 26 (because there are 52 weeks in a year).

Then divide your annual pay and by 2080 (the number of hours in a year).

So if your bi-weekly gross pay is $1,000 then your hourly pay is $12.50 per hour.

  5. divide your pay by your hours worked.
