Does anyone know the name of this animal?

Question

I've just been reading a book to my little sister. Its Noah's Ark and there is one animal we don't know the name of. Its very strange. Its probably about the same size as a badger i think. It has a black spotted and light brown brown body (same as a cheeeta) and a very fat black and white stripey tale. I can't quite place the shape. It has quite a fat body and the face of a fox? any ideas.

Noah's ark is fiction. It's probably a made up animal.

but if you're looking at a photo it might be a ring tailed lemur
