Does anyone know the name?

of the wildlife organization where you can "adopt" an animal? they send you a photo and information on it and they also send a stuffed toy with a fake birth certificate where you can name the animal.

Whether it is the Christian Children's Fund or the High and Mighty Puppy Fund, it does nothing to address the problem, it just masks the symptoms and helps you feel good about doing nothing.

I would be very careful in backing an organization that is not recognized for validity. There are a bunch out there that continue to take your money and use it for personal reasons.
