Does anyone know the percentage of Prius owners in San Francisco and Los Angeles?

I am having a debate with a friend who thinks that there are more Prius owners in LA than SF. What do you think? Do you know of any sources for stats so I can prove her wrong?

Not sure about statistical info..but I live in the LA area and drive a Prius, and had to be on a waiting list to get one.  Once the dealer got 5 in, I ran down there and bought mine.  While my husband and I were taking care of the paperwork, someone else was trying to buy our car that sat in the parking lot.  The 5 cars they got in were gone the next day.

I don't have statistics but I would bet that SF has a higher percentage because it's a more liberal area.  Plus I've driven in SF and it seems like half the cars are Priuses.

The Prius is the best selling car in nearby Silicon Valley, too.
