  1. don't go near British gas. I live in the Glasgow area and Scottish hydro are the cheapest.

    Try this link,

Dilan, you tell the truth my friend.

  2. N Power is definatly cheaper

i was with british gas and found i could get a vast reduction if i moved to Eon . i then found out Npower was £25 a month cheaper than Eon  so i would say stick with N Power. i have a large house with 4 people and it costs £70 a month for both gas and electric

  3. Depends how many units you use and the method of payment.

    More info needed

  4. I used to  work selling gas and electric for a company...lets call them 'gittish bas'...we were cheaper than most for electricity but more expensive for gas. The companies are similar to mobile phone companies with their pricing being far from transparent. Try getting a unit rate out of them!!!

I agree with previous answer...try one of the switching sites.

    Good luck.

    Ben

  5. Have a look at the uswitch site, that will help you work it out accurately.

Most supplyers are cheaper than B Gas.

  6. Its not only the price that matters I can tell you this there is no company in England at the moment with worse customer service than British gas. I will never deal them again the way they treated me but thats another story.

  7. I find N- Power cheapest if only for the  ÃƒÂ‚£80 you get for having duel fuel and paying by monthly direct debit but to try working it out on tariffs alone is almost impossible and be careful using comparison sights because some are rewarded by certain suppliers.
