I turn 16 in on september 11th and i am getting my license. But the only thing is that last year i lived with my mom in houston, tx and we did a parent taught drivers ed. but it is state approved and accredited in texas. But my friend recently got his license and didn't even have to do anything. Once they found out he took drivers ed they just got him his license and he didn't have to take a single test. Now i was wondering if thats how it is gonna be for me cuz it would be really nice. I have already abtained my permit(in texas) and it is signed by a dop worker in texas. Also i have my hour worksheet with 32 hours of driving time filled out. and signed. So it would be really nice if i didn't have to do anything either. So do you think i will have to take the tests or not? thanks. Also i live in wheatland, wyoming if that helps.

  1. You would need to contact the Wyoming Dept of Transportation to see what are their requirements for transferring permits from other states or if they will require you take another written exam.

    Here's their website - http://dot.state.wy.us/Default.jsp?sCode...
