  1. Your Answer:

    It's hopeless, "ewen2006"....

No one who answers this question posed by a number of different people has watched any medals ceremony and listened to the song, obviously. It's not the Olympics Theme Song as suggested by one of the people here. At least, though, your version of the question hasn't been replied to with innumerable suggestions that it's the "winner's national anthem" - as it is in most of the other posts regardless of the fact that the questioners specifically state that it's the song played when the medals and flowers are awarded, before the national anthem is played. I fear we're never going to find it out. Most of the online sources from the Olympics say that the song being played during the medals ceremony is "Jasmine Flower" by Tan Dun. However, he supplied several pieces for the Olympic ceremonies, and clearly the song that you're inquiring about is not "Jasmine Flower" (or Molihua) that is readily available to be heard on YouTube. The song we want is also usually played after the completion of the events, when the athletes and spectators are leaving the venue, as well as after the national anthem is played during the medals ceremonies. But what is it? Arghhhhh! I wish someone knew and would tell us. I just pray that after the Olympics there will be an Olympic music cd that contains it. It's the only way we're going to get it....
