What is the statue of limitations in ky that a credit card company {who has discharged the card] and no payments have been made for over 5 years, and can they get a judgement and attatch it to your checking account? I don't usually keep money in the acct. I am also on SSI Disability now. If I don't pay what will happen to me? This also includes a past bill from a cell phone company. HELP!!!!!

  1. If the last missed payment was before 7-16-03, then they would not be able to collect. What may have happened is that they may have illegally re-aged, or reset the time limit to collect.
