Does anyone know the status of the old Sportsman Park in Cicero, Ill?

The park, also known as Chicago Motor Speedway was slated to be redevloped. Has anything happened with those plans?

I work at Hawthorne Race Course which is right next door to Sportsman Park.  I haven't seen no work or signs that it is being redeveloped.  I've heard there was talk about redeveloping it but I think the plans to do so fell through or something.

I was racing at Hawthorne 2 weekends ago and it is still a car track, no development signs posted and nothing in the trib or sun-times about it.
