yes it was an australian father, you can google and see the pics of the dungeon he built and kept her in. it was under the home and had a few rooms bed, bath, etc. not very big. he had grand children that had never seen the sun down the. there were 7 grandchildren one died and i believe they said 3 were givin to other grand parents. the father was also believed to be molestin at least one of his grand-daughters. he had his daughter locked down there from the age of 18 and it was believed that she just left the home asking not to be searched for. go to fox news search father held daughter in cellar for 24 years.

I think it was only one kid.  Of course I could be wrong.  I couldn't read the whole story, it was too disturbing.
