Does anyone know the type of peas that are used in the McDonald's Asian Salad?

I'm talking about the peas that are out of the pod, not the whole pod that is in the salad too.

i believe they are soy beans.

They use snow peas in their Asian Salad, they are in the pod. I think you are refering to the Edamame Beans though. They look like big peas, but they are beans.
